ok. so its a costume. why not choose one that doesnt included tribal headwear? there is no indication that this is done in satire or to mock. its emulation.

the website for the trip that i am ridiculously close to undertaking. if anyone who happens to read this thinks that learning what a 5,000-mile fixed-gear bike tour might be like is interesting, then this is the site for you. it’s under construction, obviously, because we haven’t left yet- but check back and you will not be disappointed.

what is your hipster bike?

I rode my hipster bike for the first time this summer and i’m exhausted.
i just love gardening. i wish i had more people to geek out with. most of my friends talk about having gardens but since everyone is still moving around so much its hard to put the time into it. i feel very fortunate that i have been able to get done what i have so far this year, even though there are still so many things i want (mint plants…..)

my poor gardens have been neglected a little bit, (the mosquitoes are hellish right now) but jon bought me two forty pound bags of awesome potting soil/compost so my lovelies are looking much better now. i also finally got the weeds under control and got newspaper laid out to help keep them down.
