If you seriously fail to understand how this is offensive, please stop following my blog. now. ok. so its a costume. why not choose one that doesnt included tribal headwear? there is no indication that this is done in satire or to mock. its emulation. just because someone works with a certain class of minority groups and the underprivileged it means that they are incapable of acting in a way that is offensive to others? good deeds dont erase bad ones, or make you unable to commit them. so she’s not aryan. she’s still european. and even if she was australian, as you have suggested, the point is that this is was done without any regard for the appropriate setting or contxt. do you see tribal dress? is this a ceremony? no. its a girl posing for a “cute” picture for the internet. im not trying to say that im a better humanitarian than that girl or whatever, which is the fight you are trying to get me into. i dont have to prove that im a “better person” to know that what she is doing is offensive. oh, and if you really want to know, im japanese.
